As those joining this forum must be familiar with roleplaying given the fact that this story is a very intricate prospect to partake in, I'll wager you're all very much aware of the basic rules of appropriate roleplaying. I will be extremely quick with the bullet points to make sure everyone is sailing these seas smoothly and so me and the other admins won't have to remind you of the obvious.
-No God-modding; you apped as one character for a reason; to focus entirely on that given person's psychology. Do not attempt to control others and if you plan on killing off their character, ask for permission in a PM first. All drastic events must be carefully plotted and documented in the event that you are accused of God-modding.
-Be well-informed about all general facts about your character, if you're a canon. We're looking for realism.
-Canons: BrBa asks those of you who are seeking to play canons on the board, to ensure that you have the time that it will take to rp said character. Some canons are much more involved in plots and needed for RP's. I.E. Walter White is needed for a great many threads. So his Rp'er understands this and is able to dedicate the time. We don't want to see our members take on a character and feel overwhelmed the first day. So please just understand this before signing up.
--- If you are playing a canon character, the staff here at BrBa would like to remind you that you should rp with multiple people. Not just monopolize one character in particular. This is so no one feels excluded. This fact is proven on the show that the canons do mingle with other characters.
-No fantasy elements will be accepted; this is the real world. No vampires, ghosts, fairies, or monsters that couldn't be qualified as human.
-You can't enroll yourself in the DEA or the police force all of a sudden; you have to earn this position in a logical manner. This is to avoid power trips between characters that want to get the other put in jail out of a less than appropriate motive. Make your individual stories cohesive, and the admins won't have to intervene.
-ALL out of character posts must be clearly identified as OOC to avoid confusion.
If we deem it necessary, we'll be adding more rules to this thread as friendly reminders of what a good RPG climate should be like. Thank you for taking the time out to read this carefully.
